• Day
  1
  Arrival and transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park

  You will be met by our driver/guide on arrival at Kigali International Airport and depart to Nyungwe Forest National Park which is strategically located in South Western part of Rwanda. You will have stopovers within local markets for some shopping with lunch in a restaurant then proceed to Nyungwe National Park arriving late in the afternoon with some walking around your lodge with late afternoon relaxation with Dinner and overnight on Full Board.

  2
  Chimpanzee Tracking

  After your breakfast in your lodge you will enter Ngungwe National Park in the jungle to track chimpanzees. The activity will take you 1-6 hours depending on the location of the Chimpanzees and this attached to their movement and while tracking, you will get a bonus of viewing other primates within the forest including; silver monkey colobus, Hoest Monkey, owl faced monkey, red tailed monkey, vervet monkey and olive baboon and so many others. Chimpanzee once found you will have only one hour to take as many photos as possible. You will then walk after tracking the Chimpanzee back to your lodge for your fresh lunch with afternoon relaxation with overnight at your lodge on Full Board.

  3
  Drive to Volcanoes National Park

  After breakfast in your lodge you will drive with your guide to Volcanoes National Park where you will participate in gorilla tracking with packed lunch boxes; You will enjoy a calm drive as you will pass through rolling hills, arriving in the park in the Late afternoon. On arrival in the late afternoon you will check in to your lodge with some evening walks around your lodge with dinner and overnight on Full Board.

  4
  Gorilla Trekking, Parc National Des Volcanoes

  After breakfast today you will participate in gorilla tracking in the Volcanoes National Park. You will be required to wake up very early in the morning have breakfast then report to the park headquarters where you are briefed about the dos and don’ts during this Gorilla tracking activity. The gorilla tracking will involve passing through thick forest thus you are recommended to be in fit condition. After tracking the gorillas, you will have only one hour to stay with this ape and take as many pictures as possible with the company of your Ranger/guide. Then you will walk back to the park head quarters where you will drive back to the lodge after tracking for your lunch with afternoon relaxation with overnight on Full Board.

  Dian Fossey Trek

  After your breakfast you will visit within Volcanoes National Park visit grave yard of Dian Fossey. She spent 18 years studying the behaviors of these great apes Gorillas, and the trek to the site is quite wonderful because it involves passing through bamboo forest and afro-montane habitants. You will get an additional bonus of sighting other wildlife within the forest. After the trek you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation with Dinner and overnight at your lodge on Full Board.

  Volcanoes National Park and Departure

  After breakfast you will relax in your lodge and then drive back to Kigali. If time will be permitting; go for a tour of the city places to visit place including genocide memorial sites, market places, cultural centers do some shopping if interested have lunch in the city and later depending on your flight time be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your flight to your next destination.
